A relaxing retreat into the scenic surroundings will lead you to Camperdown Country Park, the largest public park in Dundee. The park is gorgeous through all four seasons and with 190 species of tree, it never looks identical twice. The park serves as a backdrop for a variety of events taking place throughout the year, including charity events such as the Race for Life. Camperdown Country Park also houses a wildlife centre, home to around 100 species, with Bears and Lemurs, amongst others, all having over 400 acres of space to roam in. A trip to the top of the Law, the highest point in the city, is a tiring walk, but is worth the effort when you witness the panoramic spectacular view of the city, including the river, the harbour, the hills and the meadows.
