During the middle 20th century the textile business in Blackburn started to decline, and had an influx of Muslims to it which now consist of about a quarter of the population, which is the highest percentage of the population in the United Kingdom. During the last 60 years Blackburn has developed in other areas, and has become a tourist attraction - partly due to it having such a long and extensive history.

Blackburn is easily reachable by various means of transportation, which includes cars - which you can take and use the motorways in the area, such as the M65 motorways, which reach various nearby towns, as well as around the town, so you'll have freedom to do as you please.

Blackburn also has a newly developed train station that is located in the town's center, which is operated by Northern Rail and is the nearest train station from Blackburn. The train reaches various locations in and near Blackburn - including various towns and cities, and is a quick way to explore the nearby vicinity without having to drive a car or having to worry about parking or traffic.

There are also bus stations throughout the town, which offer a quick and easy way to reach the many different points of interest in Blackburn, without having to be dependent on a parking space, and without being tied down to a car. It allows you the freedom to reach by foot any place you might want to reach, on your own time, with your friends and family, so you will also have time to relax and have a dinner.
